Martha J. Mulligan

Martha J. Mulligan, 49, of Narragansett, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at South County Hospital. She was the loving wife of Robert P. Mulligan for twenty seven years. Born in Needham, MA, she was the daughter of Russell and Mary (Godsoe) Hayes. Martha was a member of the board of directors for the Narragansett Little League and Narragansett Parks and Recreation and was also a Girl Scout troop leader. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was the devoted mother of Robert Mulligan Jr., Brendan T. Mulligan, Connor S. Mulligan and Erin S. Mulligan; sister of David Hayes. Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 a. m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Visiting hours Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI, P.O. Box 458, Wakefield, RI 02880.
