Marlene Monroe

Marlene Monroe, 72, of Rolen’s Drive, Kingston, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph B. Monroe Jr. Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of Ethel (Wilcox) Brown and the late Tarzan Brown; mother of Michael, Laurie and Jeffrey Monroe and the late Mitchell and Joseph Monroe; sister of Ellison Brown Jr. and Norman E. Brown Sr.; grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of eleven. Mrs. Monroe worked in Genealogy for the Narragansett Indian Tribe and as a dietitian for South County Hospital.
