Marjorie J. Stevens

Marjorie J. (Malenfant) Stevens, 71, of Main St., Wakefield, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mildred L. (Tucker) Malenfant. Marjorie worked in housekeeping at the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. Marjorie was a constant source of positive energy and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed knitting and was involved in the Youth Association at The Center. She leaves a sister Nancy Maziarz of North Carolina; a brother Clifford Malenfant of MI; several nieces and nephews and her dear friend and cousin Charles Whipple of Wakefield. She was sister of the late Dr. Arthur Malenfant and Richard Malenfant. At Marjorie’s request services will be private.
