Marjorie D. Redmond

Marjorie D. Redmond, 87, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Elderwood of Scallop Shell. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Marjorie (Hendrick) Collins.

Marjorie worked as a certified nursing assistant in hospice care. She was well respected and appreciated in her career and the care she gave to her patients.

She is survived by her three children and spouses, Tim Redmond and his wife Linda, Becky Stewart and her husband Michael, Julie Taylor and her husband Dennis, three grandchildren, Neil Redmond, Kevin Redmond and Katie Taylor, one great grandchild, Elena Redmond, two siblings, Robert Collins and Dorothy Motta and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Carolyn Mae MacDonald.

Visitation for Marjorie will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10-11 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield, followed by a funeral home service at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
