Marjorie E. Cook

Marjorie E. Cook, 90, of Middlebridge, died Monday at home. She was the companion of Milton Caswell of South Kingstown, for 28 years. Born in Peace Dale, on September 8, 1918, she was a daughter of the late William and Olive (Dean) Northup. Mrs. Cook was employed at URI for over 20 years, retiring in 1983. She enjoyed walking on the beach and was an accomplished pianist. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Borden of Portsmouth and Marcia Caswell of Florida; three grandchildren, Jamerson Haywood, Joshuah Valleee , Lindsey Counnas and two great grandchildren, Leann and Marrisa. A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Friday in the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
