Marjorie Doran

Marjorie "Margie" Hope Doran- 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was a lifelong resident of Wakefield.

She was the daughter of the late Eugene Doran and Bertha (Monroe) Doran. She was the sister of the late Joseph B. Monroe, Harold "Jim" Doran, Robert W. Doran, and Mary E. (Doran) Norman.

She is survived by multiple beloved nieces and nephews.

Marjorie loved gardening, puzzles, family, jazz, and church. Anyone who knew Margie knew she had a heart of gold, and she would do anything for anyone. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Easter. She loved long rides through the countryside. And her favorite place to be wherever there was a good time.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th, from 10 am - 12 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a funeral service immediately following at 12 pm.
