Marjorie Baker Andreas, 87, formerly of Wakefield and Warwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, with her loving family beside her. She was the wife of the late Otto Andreas. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Edna (Beach) Dalton, and she grew up in Pawtucket. She was an accomplished piano player, giving lessons in the Warwick area. She was and excellent seamstress and directed the Junior Choir at Lakewood Baptist Church for many years. After raising her children, she returned to school and obtained an Associates degree in Social Sciences. She spent many summers in Little Compton with her family. Surviving are, three children, Steven Baker and his wife Lorraine of Palmetto, Florida, Neil Baker of East Greenwich, and Lisbeth O’Brien and her husband Larry of Providence; three grandchildren, Daniel O'Brien, Kate Maccio, and Michael O'Brien; and four great granddaughters, Emma, Avery, Cecilia, and Vivie; a brother Albert Dalton of Florida; and a sister Elizabeth Stanton of Woonsocket. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Friday, 4-7 pm, with a prayer service a 6:30 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2374 Post Road, # 206, Warwick, RI 02886.
