Marion Mccabe Cappuccio

Marion H. Cappuccio (McCABE), 79, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, VA. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Cappuccio, II, to whom she had been married for sixty-one years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Davis) McCabe. She was a graduate of St. Xavier in Providence. Mrs. Cappuccio had been employed by the State of Rhode Island for 28 years and she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Wakefield. Marion’s loving nature and contagious laugh will be missed by all who knew her. Besides he husband she is survived by three children, Joseph R. Cappuccio, III and his wife Patricia of Sebastian, FL, Maureen Rogers and her husband Michael of Wakefield, and Carleen Carter and her husband John of Norfolk, VA; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Brendan, Catherine and John, Jr. She was the sister of the late Catherine “Kathleen” Rosiak. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday April 30, 2011 at 9:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Friday April 29, 2011, 5-7 PM.
