Marion L. Barrows

Marion L. Barrows, 94, of Wakefield, died Monday. She was the wife of the late Patrick H. Barrows. Born in Pawtucket, she was daughter of the late William F. and Ruth (Bonner) Franklin. Mrs. Barrows worked as a nurses aid at South County Hospital and Cranston General Hospital before retiring and later worked in private home care. She has lived in South Kingstown since 1952 and was a former member of the Narragansett Senior Citizens. She leaves two sons, Donald F. Barrows of Wakefield and David F. Barrows of Port Townsend, WA; a brother Everett Franklin of FL; four grandchildren, Shawn, Scott, Alex and Jamie Barrows; five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Franklin, Evelyn O’Brien and Hazel Rubin. The funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
