Marilyn A. White

Marilyn A. White, 75, of Riverside Dr., Wakefield, died unexpectedly Monday October 12, 2009. She was the wife of the late George S. White and companion of Roger Barker. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Bertha Fanella. Mrs. White was a school bus driver for East Providence and Narragansett School Systems for many years before retiring in 1996. She enjoyed boating, camping and traveling, but most of all her greatest joy was her family and friends. She was the mother of Donald White of Wakefield, Deborah White of Hampsted, NC, Donna Passaretti of Wakefield, Diane Carvalho of New Carlisle, IN and Doreen Casey and her husband Michael of Narragansett; grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 5. She was sister of the late Robert and Richard Fanella. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
