Marie C. Judge

October 10, 1940 — July 29, 2025

Marie C. Judge, beloved mother and grandmother, 84, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Born in Providence on October 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Coppa) D’Ambra, and the sister of the late Francis D’Ambra and Anthony D’Ambra.

Marie Judge was cherished by her family and community for her joyful spirit and loving heart. A mother of 6 and grandmother of 12, her family was the center of her world. “Mama” Judge had the precious gift of making all who met her feel welcome and at home with her laughter, kindness and endless warmth. Whether on trips to the beach with her beloved twin sister Connie, hosting holidays for her large family in her small but cozy home, or attending her beloved Catholic Church mass, Marie Judge was always happiest around others. Outside of her family life, she served the community and helped families as a dedicated social worker. During her last days, she was surrounded by the love of all of her children, family and friends. She passed, as were her last wishes, with her dear twin sister at her side.

Marie will be deeply missed by her twin sister, Connie Gray, her six children, Gerald Judge, Michele King, Michael Judge, Christine Towle, Natasha Maciel, Thomas Judge, and her grandchildren, Matthew King, Joshua King, Caroline Brunner, Nathan Judge, Jordan Towle, Lindsey Towle, Natalie Towle, Abigail Judge, Lily Marie Judge, Phoebe Judge, Ryan Maciel and Sarah Maciel, and her twenty nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie will be held on Friday, August 8th, 2025 at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 7th, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
