Marie F. Baton

Marie F. Baton, 97, of Rodman St., Wakefield, died Friday. She was the wife of the late William N. Baton. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano “Tommy” and Pasqualina “Lena” (Mastrostefano) Faella. She was the mother of William N. Baton Jr. of Annapolis, MD, Michael Baton of Wakefield and the late Peggy Corcoran; sister of Anthony Faella of Kingston, Ann Caswell of Peace Dale, Louise Chappell, Grace Yemma and Anna Perry all of Florida; grandmother of five and great grandmother of seven. Mrs. Baton worked at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and the University of Rhode Island before retiring. A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced.
