Marguerite E. Jones

Marguerite E. (McLaughlin) Jones, 78, of Snug Harbor, passed away Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John E. Jones. Born in Dorchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Jane (Halloran) McLaughlin. Mrs. Jones worked in ticket sales for the former Providence Civic Center before retiring. She enjoyed painting, reading, crossword puzzles, but most of all spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the loving mother of Michael Jones, Stephen Jones, Matthew Jones, Kathleen Riley, Jeanette Smith, Cal Jones and the late Colleen and Elizabeth Jones; loving grandmother of nine and great grandmother of five. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday December 9th at 9:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
