Margaret Louise Pater

Margaret Louise Pater, 77, of Charlestown, died Sunday. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late John and Martha (Annheiter) Henry. Mrs. Pater worked in the Special Education Department for the Narragansett School System for over twenty years, retiring in 2001. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and taking them to various fishing spots. She is survived by two children, Daniel Pater and his wife Dawn of Charlestown and Cindy Pater Chasey and her husband David of Dallas, TX; two grandsons, Ryan Pater and Joshua Pater; a brother John Henry of MA; and two sisters, Dorothy Hufnagle and Eileen Tierney, both of MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday, 4-6 pm.
