Peggy Lynch, 76, of Charlestown, RI passed away on March 5, 2026 in her home. The daughter of the late John J. and Catherine (Dempsey) Lynch, Peggy was a lifetime resident of Rhode Island. From growing up in Providence and spending many summers with friends and family at Matunuck Point to settling in Southern RI and starting a family, Rhode Island was her home.

As a teacher for over 40 years, Peggy introduced her students to the wonders of the world, gave them the foundations to build their futures upon, and always put "her kids" first. As a sister, Peggy enjoyed spending time with her brother, from creating childhood memories to playing cards through all hours of the night. As a mother, Peggy raised two of her own children and was enjoying life as a doting grandmother to four "rambunctious" grandchildren who were always excited to see Nana.

Peggy is survived and deeply missed by her daughter, Mauria Folger, her husband Clinton, and their children Rourke and Breenagh of Warren, RI; her son, John Kenyon, his wife Courtney, and their children Eliza and Jack of Cranston, RI; and her loving brother, John J. Lynch of Delhi, NY.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
