Margaret Dugan

Margaret Dugan, 84, of North Kingstown, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Robert G. Dugan. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Margaret (Kelleher) O’Hara.

Margaret had a longtime career as a dental assistant, working for Dr. Ferry in East Greenwich.

In her younger days she enjoyed reading, gardening, family gatherings, cooking and traveling to New York to visit.

Margaret loved spending time with her childhood friends, once a month they would meet for dinner and Friday night happy hour at her house with her sisters, her daughter Kerri and friends.

She loved her sisters, Joan, Maureen, and Kathleen, her sons, Bobby, and Michael and daughter Kerri, and their spouses Jill, Desiree, and Scott.

She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Mallory, Amy, Grace and John and was

aunt Peggy to 3 nieces and 6 nephews and many greats.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 13th at 10:00 am in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas More Church.
