Margaret D. Dillmann

Margaret D. Dillmann, 92, of Post Rd., Matunuck, died Wednesday September 26, 2012 at home. She was the wife of the late William B. Dillmann. Born in Peace Dale, she was the daughter of the late T. William and Adelaide (Knowles) Dixon. Mrs. Dillmann was a school teacher and remedial reading teacher for several local school districts for many years before retiring. She was also the co-owner of Ding Hao Gardens with her longtime companion Seth Gifford. She was an avid downhill skier, ice skater, a water safety instructor, a girl scout leader and assistant director of the Neighborhood Guild many years ago. She leaves two sons, David and his wife Brenda Dillmann and Karl Dillmann; a step daughter, Sandra Thomas; two grandchildren, Heather and Asher Dillmann. The funeral will be held Wednesday October 3rd at 10:00 AM in Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia St. Peace Dale. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Wakefield.
