Margaret M. Peggy Coletta

Margaret (Peggy) M. Coletta (Coleman), 82, formerly of Wakefield, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. Born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Elizabeth (Crozier) Coleman. Peggy graduated from Cumberland High School in 1954. She worked for the telephone company for many years before retiring. She enjoyed dancing, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Mark S. Coletta and his wife Lynn of Lebanon, CT; a sister, Catherine Joly of Cumberland and three grandchildren, Meghan, Devon and Emily Coletta. She was the sister of the late John Stewart Coleman, Rosemary Jones and Elizabeth Hogan. She was married to the late Anthony Coletta for many years. Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 9 am from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 pm.
