Marc LaBier, devoted husband, proud father, and friend to many, passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 63 at home in Richmond, RI.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Crowley) LaBier and Brother of the late Paul LaBier.
Marc was the beyond-loved husband and soulmate of Kathleen (O’dowd) LaBier.
The lights of Marc’s life were his three sons, Nicholas, Neil, and Steven and wife Mikayla. Marc was a family man who found no greater joy than guiding and watching his sons grow into incredible men. Anyone who knew Marc was touched by his kindness and easy-going temperament. He was always positive and wanted the best for everyone.
Marc had a long career in the automobile industry, first working as a mechanic and progressing to service department manager. He then started a second career repairing sonar for naval submarines, working for various government contractors. He earned the respect of his peers through his incredible ability to manage any situation and solve problems calmly.
The simplest pleasures in life brought the most joy to Marc. He loved working in his garage, fixing anything he could get his hands on, driving his corvettes and motorcycles and going out to breakfast with his buddies.
His family hopes he is driving his beloved ’69 corvette through the gates of heaven with a huge smile on his face and breeze blowing through the hair he always dreamed of.
He will be deeply missed.
