Lynn Stanton, 73, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2026, at home with family by her side. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Glenn Stanton, as well as her mother and stepfather, Lois and George "Bud" Ewen, her father, Charles Lillibridge, sister, Sharon Raymond, and son, Joshua Stanton.

Lynn is survived by her sons, Luke Stanton of Wakefield, RI and Zachary Stanton and his wife Hillery of Ashaway, RI, her siblings, Sandra Lynch of Hamden, CT and Curtis Lillibridge of Richmond, RI, and several grandchildren.

Lynn was a lifelong resident of South County and worked as a bartender for over thirty years at several local establishments, including the Mews Tavern, Giro's Spaghetti House, and Rose Hill Golf Course. She loved gardening, collecting antiques, and crafts such as rug hooking and wreath-making. Lynn had a warm, welcoming, and compassionate nature and was adored by family, friends, and customers alike. She will be dearly missed

Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 4-6PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI 02881. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10AM in Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main St, Wakefield, RI 02879 followed by a Burial in New Fernwood Cemetery, 3120 Kingstown Rd, Kingston, RI 02881. A reception will be held at the South Kingstown Elks Lodge, 60 Belmont Ave, Wakefield, RI 02879.
