Lyman Cranston

Lyman N. Cranston, 90, a retired Financial Planner of Melbourne, Florida, died November 16, 2009 in Florida. He was the husband of the late Carolyn Kenyon Crandall of Wakefield, whom he married in 1947. After her death in 1988, he married Marjorie McKelvey of Melbourne, FL Born in Wakefield on October 6, 1919, he was a son of the late Lyman N. and Ruby (Tefft) Cranston. He moved to Florida from Marlborough, CT in 1977. Mr. Cranston served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a pilot and he was taken prisoner and interred in Sweden. He is survived by his daughter Susan C. Miller of Umatilla, FL; two grandsons, Brandon Pennington and Joshua Pennington; and four great grandsons. A memorial service will held Saturday June 19, 2010 at 11 AM in the Perryville Cemetery (RI Historical Cemetery # 47), Post Road, Perryville.
