Lucille Hazard

Lucille Hazard, 73, of South Kingstown, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Kent Hospital. Born and raised in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Wallace Freeman Hazard and Rachel Viola (Fry) Hazard.

Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Hazard, five grandchildren, Xavier Hazard, Brandon Hazard, Jr., Calvin Hazard, Calisi Hazard and Kyla Hazard, her siblings, Rev. Wallace Hazard, Elenor Pope, Audrey Nocentelli, Harrison Hazard, Laura Short and Donna Sebastian and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother to the late Shawn Hazard and sister to the late Ellen Hazard, Edwin Hazard and Sarah Blaisdell.

Lucille’s visitation will be held Thursday, April 24th, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a funeral home service at 12 Noon. Burial will take place in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
