Louise A. Kilpeck, 92, a longtime resident of Charlestown and formerly of Cranston, died Thursday. She was the beloved wife of the late George Kilpeck. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Mary E. (Dinnany) Fitzpatrick. She graduated from St. Xavier Academy in 1938. Mrs. Kilpeck was employed for the State of Rhode Island for 23 years, retiring in 1982. She was a champion bridge player and a member of the Quonochontaug East Beach Association. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Louise Penedo and her husband George of Cranston, and Corrine E. Fortune and her husband Ralph of Cranston; four grandchildren, Mary Andrade and her husband Greg, Michael G. Edwards and his wife Andrea, Meghan Bernal and Marissa Bernal; and five great grandchildren, Becki, Corey and Rachel Andrade, James and Gabriel Edwards.. She was the sister of the late Dorothy M. Fitzpatrick and Sister Corrine Villeneuve, CC. Visiting hours will be Monday from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 0904
