Louise S. Kent

Louise S. Kent, 95, of Willard Avenue, Wakefield, died Thursday. She was the wife of the late Howard C. Kent. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Kathryn (Whiting) Simms. Mrs. Kent was employed for the Housekeeping Department at the University of Rhode Island for ten years and she previously had worked at the Peace Dale Mill. She was a member of the Kingston Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws; William H. and Dorothy Kent of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Russell C. and Linda Kent of Wakefield, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM Wednesday followed by a service at 11 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
