Louise DeQuattro, 94, formerly of Providence died early Monday. She was the devoted wife of the late Louis DeQuattro. Born in Providence, she was one of ten children born to the late Anthony and Angela (D’Andrea) Verdelotti. Louise was the loving mother of the late Lt. Col. Louis A. DeQuattro, Anthony DeQuattro of Narragansett, and Angela Arundel of Wakefield; mother-in-law of Kathy DeQuattro and David J. Arundel; beloved Grandmother of Louis DeQuattro, Michael DeQuattro, Stephanie DeQuattro, David. A. Arundel, Kimberly Arundel, Ryan DeQuattro, and Great-Granddaughter, Kiely DeQuattro. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of the Holy Ghost Church in Providence until moving to Wakefield in 2004. She devoted countless hours to her family and community, and will forever be cherished in all of our hearts and in the hearts of all whom she touched. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 PM in the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Scallop Shell Staff Appreciation Fund or Scallop Shell Activities Fund.
