Louise Carpenter

Louise Carpenter (Holland), 88, of Peace Dale, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Carpenter. Born in New Britain, CT, a daughter of the late Earl and Sadie (Cobb) Holland. Mrs. Carpenter was a bowling coach at Old Mountain Lanes and was a member of the Rocky Brook Advent Christian Church and the Bethel Chapel in Talmadge, ME. She also resided in Carroll, ME. She is survived by two daughters, Christine Shaw and her husband Thomas of Carroll, ME and Merry-Belle Champlin and her husband Roger of Peace Dale; five grandchildren, Joseph and Melany Auger, Jason, Joshua and Kayla Champlin; seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Julia Corey of Peace Dale. Her funeral and burial were private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Rocky Brook Advent Christian Church, 83 Sweet Fern Land, Peace Dale, RI 02879.
