Louis J. Tremblay, age 62 of South Kingstown, passed away peacefully and painlessly on December 26, 2021, after losing a battle with cancer. Louis spent his final days at the Hulitar Hospice Center where he was tenderly cared for and always kept comfortable by the exceptional staff. His family was with him when he passed away. He leaves behind his loving wife, Karen, after celebrating 30 years of marriage. Louis was a very generous person who was always the first one to help anyone with anything as quickly and as much as he could. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, wood working, old Kung Fu movies and using his many tools and toys around the house and yard. Louis was born on December 23, 1959, in Lowell, MA. He later moved to North Kingstown where he was raised by his parents, Lorraine Johnson, and the late Archie Johnson. He attended North Kingstown High School and shortly after went into the Navy. He was an active and avid member for AA for over 35 years, enjoyed being a fire fighter and he loved his pets and all animals. Louis will be sadly missed and always loved by his family and friends and left this world much too soon. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Johnson, and two stepchildren, Tamara Berg and Zack Fisher. A celebration of life will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Rhode Island, 506B Curtis Corner Rd, Peace Dale, RI 02879 or online at www.animalrescueri.org.
