Louis W. Fenelon, 77 of Charlestown, died Monday. He was the husband of Dorothy E. (Grattidge) Kelly-Fenelon and the late Pauline E. (Dinwoodie) Fenelon. Born in Sag Harbor, Long Island, NY, he was a son of the late Paul and Emily (George) Fenelon. Mr. Fenelon was a Mechanical Engineer for Electric Boat, Division of General Dynamics, Groton, CT, retiring in 1985 and then became an Ombudsman for the State of Rhode Island. He was a member of the Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star, and became a Mason in 1956 and a 32nd Degree Mason in 1973. He enjoyed golfing and hunting. Surviving besides his wife he leaves, three daughters, Paula Forgie of Washington, PA, Nannette Savage of Colchester, CT, Claudia Harrington-Walsh of Islip, NY, a brother Leonard G. Fenelon of Simsbury, CT, three grandchildren, Joseph Sonson, Andy Savage and Heather Harrington. He was the brother of the late Paul Fenelon. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Saturday May 24th at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 4150 Old Post Road, Charlestown.
