Lorenzo M. Smith

Lorenzo M. Smith, 33, of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday. Born in Newport, he was a son of Paula Whitford and Harold Smith. He is survived by two children, a daughter Shylynn Smith and Anthony Pates Smith, both of Wakefield; two brothers Shane Ford of Wakefield and Earl Massey of Warwick; four sisters, Monique Perry of Narragansett, Nakiesha Morales of New York, Quatashia Beckford of New York, and Taniesha Sellers of East Greenwich; a maternal grandmother, Rose Waite of Wakefield; and a paternal grandmother Sareba G. Smith of New York. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Friday 3-5 pm, followed by a service at 5 pm. Burial will be private.
