Lorena M. Loftes

Lorena M. Loftes, 92, of Maplehurst Dr., Narragansett, died Wednesday at home. She was the daughter of the late Clayton and Maude (Sherman) Adamson; wife of the late George W. Loftes for 64 years; mother of Sheryll Houston of Narragansett, Lynette Clifford of Saunderstown and Marlane Jill Tucker Moors of Wakefield; grandmother of Correne Donnelly, Dale Clifford, Kristin Souza, Lauren Beckelman and Jennifer Tucker and great grandmother of nine. Mrs. Loftes was a secretary for Peace Dale Processing before retiring. She was past worthy advisor of Rainbow Girls, a member of the “Club” and a former member of the Narragansett School Committee. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Visiting hours Friday 5-7 PM.
