September 28, 1916 — April 15, 2009

Lois A, May, 92, of Plains Rd., West Kingston, died Wednesday at South Bay Manor. Born in West Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Lewis N. Sr. and Mary (Butler) May. Miss May was a LPN for Allen’s Nursing Home, for many years before retiring in 1989 and was a 1943 graduate of Shepherd Guild School of Nursing in Boston. She attended Curtis Corner Baptist Church and New Hope Chapel. She is survived by a brother Joseph A. May and a sister, Julia May both of West Kingston and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lewis N. May Jr., Mary Jane DeJong, Ella Iverson, Hazel Jordan, Rose Franklin and Helen Roberts. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday April 25th in Riverside Cemetery, High Street Wakefield.
