Lloyd J. Robertson, Jr.

Lloyd J. Robertson Jr., 74, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of Susan (Ricci) Robertson for 50 years. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., he was the son of the late Lloyd and Darlene (Dalton) Robertson.

Lloyd obtained his undergraduate degree and MBA from Bryant College. He dedicated his life to helping others, both professionally and through extensive volunteer work. He enjoyed a successful career as a financial advisor, while also devoting much of his time to community service. He was an active volunteer with numerous organizations, including the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Lions Club, and several local charities. He served on the board of Brown University Health (Lifespan) and was the chairman of Gateway Health, working to improve healthcare, support services, and children’s lives in Rhode Island for over 30 years.

Beyond his volunteer efforts, Lloyd cherished time with his family. He loved camping trips, traveling, and quiet evenings on his deck, watching the sunset with his wife.

In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by his children: Rebecca Jennison; Jessica Pernicone and her husband, Brian; and Michael Robertson and his husband, Tyler Marcum. He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Gary Jennison III, Elizabeth Jennison, Grayson Pernicone, and Eleanor Pernicone. He is also survived by his sisters, Diane and Janice Robertson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Peter’s By-The-Sea Church, 72 Central Street, Narragansett, RI. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
