Linda Ann Redmond

Linda A. Redmond, 65, of Wakefield, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019, at home. She was the wife of David R. Redmond, Sr. for 38 years. Born in Honolulu, HI, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Tefe) Taylor of North Kingstown and the late Walter S. Taylor. Linda was a purchasing agent for the South County Hospital Laboratory for many years before retiring; a member of the Union Fire District Ladies Auxiliary; a committee member of the South County Hospital Cancer Center and the secretary for the Sweet Allen Farm Homeowners Association. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her step-children, David R. Redmond, Jr. and his wife Christine of NJ and Christopher M. Redmond and his wife Jennifer of Wakefield; nine step-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emily, Lauren, Lindsey, Zachary, Tyler, Conner, Andrew and Ryan Redmond and two sisters, Donna Gould and Nancy Aughilbaugh both of Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, at 1 pm on Monday, December 23, 2019.
