Lilyne Hollingworth

Lilyne M. Hollingworth, 72, passed away Thursday, December 11th at Elderwood of Scallop Shell at Wakefield. Born in Quincy, MA to the late William Kelly and Elizabeth (Egan) Kelly, and raised in South Kingstown, RI.

Lilyne was a CPA and served as Comptroller of Hartford Seminary for 33 years, retiring in 2014 due to stroke.

She was the mother of two sons, survived by Tom Kelly and Brian Hollingworth. She is also survived by five siblings, Mary Beth Schmitt, Sharon Toti, William Kelly, John Kelly, and Maureen Baxter.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 13th from 9:30-10:30 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visiting hours at 11am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield, RI. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, George Schaeffer St, Peace Dale, RI.
