Lillian Angela (Campolattano) Spinelli, 93, of Wakefield, passed away at home on December 7, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank A. Spinelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Nancy (DAmbra) Campolattano. Lillian was an administrative assistant for the Rhode Island School of the Blind and also was an administrative assistant and dedicated volunteer at the Dr. Patrick ORourke Childrens Center in Providence assisting her husband for many years. She was known as the wise woman-always making others feel better after her guidance. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed cooking for large family gatherings. She had a passion for music and was an avid reader. She loved watching the cooking channels, was a dedicated sports fan, especially to football; following her husbands passion for the sport. She is survived by her children Frank A. Spinelli and his wife Janet of Cranston, Linda Albanese and her husband Edward of Charlestown, Lorene Scambio and her husband Richard of Cranston, Lisa Spinelli of South Kingstown, Lana Vieira of Cranston and Michael Vieira; grandchildren Bryan, Lea, Jenna, Jonathan, Amanda, Vanessa, Kristin, Jessica, Michaela; great-grandchildren Eli, Gia, Luca, Natalya, Kryshten, and Lillian. She was predeceased by her daughter Leah Ann Spinelli, grandson Matthew Michael Vieira, and her siblings Bartholomew Campolattano, Etta Zayat, Anna Simone, and Frances Campolattano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 9am in St. Romuald Chapel, 61 Atlantic Ave, Matunuck. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
