Lester Stuart Fayerweather was called home Saturday, March 19, 2016. Lester was born March 1, 1945 in South County, Rhode Island. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Fayerweather along with his brothers and sisters. With their love, guidance and support Lester became the man we all knew, loved and respected. Lester left a piece of him in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He strived to change the world around him for those he loved. He was always a determined man. Lester started his own construction business in his early adult years to provide for his family. In 1977 He began working as a sub-contractor for Woloohojian Reality and continued to work for them until his passing. Lester was a man who was proud of his Native heritage. He was an avid activist and representative for The Narragansett Indian Tribe. He was a board member at the Rhode Island Indian Counsel to ensure that his people could be freed from oppression and given the same opportunities as everyone else. Knowing this, I would say that Lester has fulfilled his purpose on this earth, as the Lord laid it out. This is why we are here to celebrate his life. Lester was known as many things in his life. There aren’t enough words to describe what a wonderful man he was. He was a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, grandfather and most important a devoted father. It was very rare that Lester was seen without at least one of his children. He took the time to teach his children values and showing them the importance of family. He set a great example for them. Lester made sure that he provided for his children, but he also provided for many other family members, friends, and even some strangers, that’s just the kind of man he was. Lester kept a positive mindset and a strong belief in the faith of God and that’s what carried him though. It is said that happiness comes to those who dedicate their lives to other and we all know that’s exactly what he did. Lester is survived by: His mother Margaret Lucille Fayerweather, His children Tyrone A. Garner, Dawn Perry, Lester S. Fayerweather Jr., Elissa Martin, Lester S. Nunez, James S.
