Leonard A. Sweet

Leonard A. Sweet, 68, of Narragansett passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. Born in South Kingstown he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Gardner) Sweet. Mr. Sweet was a painter at the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. He is survived by his sons, Leonard A. Sweet, Jr. of Narragansett and Timothy B. Sweet of Pawtucket; three grandchildren, Timothy B. Sweet, Jr., Mariah M.L. Sweet and Jason J. Sweet and a brother, John Sweet of Woodstock, CT. He was the brother of the late Carol DiSalvo. His funeral service will be held on Monday, October, 7, 2013, at 11 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Monday 10-11 AM.
