Leo J. Howe, Jr.

Leo J. Howe Jr., 77, of Matunuck, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. He was the husband of the late Lorretta (Riley) Howe. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Leo J. Howe Sr. and Rita (Considine) Howe. He was the father of Sean, Timothy and Kimberly Howe and Tracy Earl; brother of Barbara Kimball; grandfather of Matthew, Ryan, Elizabeth, Amber, Julia, Luke, Liam and Erin. Mr. Howe was a graduate of Hope High School and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a computer analyst for Honeywell and Gorham/Textron for many years before retiring. Mr. Howe lived in Warren for over twenty five years before moving to Matunuck and enjoyed watching sports and golfing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Romuald Chapel, Atlantic Ave, Matunuck. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
