Lee Ann (Morin) Brown, 71, of South Kingstown, Rhode Island, formerly of Riverside, RI, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2020 after a courageous five-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Gilbert C. Brown, and loving children Edward B. Dexter, Jr. of Hollis, Maine and Brad D. Dexter and his wife, Margaret Savino, of New York, New York, as well as her siblings, Peter Morin and his wife, Dorene, of Miramar Lakes, FL, Mary DeLorenzo and her husband, Joseph, of Johnston, RI, Janice Lunghi and her husband, Tony, of Seekonk, MA, and Michael Morin and his wife, Debbie, of Coventry, RI. Lee is also survived by her stepchildren, Lynne Brown of Attleboro, MA and Peter Brown and his wife, Krystal, of Attleboro, MA. Additionally, she is survived by her two granddaughters, Courtney and Madison Dexter, and her two grandsons, Ryan and Austin Brown. Throughout her life, Lee appreciated all of the time she spent with her immediate and extended family. She is particularly thankful for the time she spent with Gil, and the moments they shared walking on beaches, watching sunrises and sunsets, and biking together. Lee, also, was a passionate volunteer, most recently at a local senior center and food pantry in North Kingstown. Lees appreciation of the simpler things in life included the beauty of daffodils, sitting on her porch on warm summer days, and knitting. Her favorite places included Portland and the Maine coast, Rhode Islands South County beaches, and especially Block Island. A celebration of Lees life will occur at The Chapel of St. John the Divine in Saunderstown, RI on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, it is Lees wish for us all to perform random acts of kindness in memory of those whom we have loved and lost.
