Leatrice M. Calabro

Leatrice M. Calabro, 92, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Salvatore M. Calabro. Born in Coventry, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Villari.

Leatrice cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren, often watching the boys play basketball. She also enjoyed cooking, taking day trips, and spending time by the ocean. Leatrice was an avid Celtics fan.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Calabro and his wife Lisa, three grandchildren, Michael, Thomas and Matthew Calabro, and four nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Domenic Villari.

A funeral home service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Calling hours will be held form 10 – 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
