Leanne Verber-Pavao

Leanne Babcock Cook Lipov Verber Pavao, 64, of North Kingstown Rhode Island died on September 7, 2013 at South County Hospital after a long illness. She was born in New York on May 5, 1949, the daughter of Robert and Cecelia Babcock. Leanne graduated from the University Of Maryland with a BS in Education. She worked for the Fram/Bendix/Allied Signal corporation for 17 years before starting her own successful consulting company. She was happily married to Louis Pavao until his passing in 2009. Leanne was preceded in death by her daughter Christaine Verber and survived by her children Andrea Verber and Erin Verber and three grandchildren, Marc, Quinn and Piper Kendrick with whom she loved spending time. She was a long time supporter of animal causes, including volunteering with the North Kingstown Animal Shelter. She and her husband Louie were sponsors of the Providence Performing Arts and loved attending plays. Leanne loved gardening and was an active member of the Rhode Island Rose Society. An informal memorial service will be held at her home in North Kingstown on Sunday, September 22 beginning at 2PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to the North Kingstown Animal Shelter.
