Laurie Ellen Wilkinson

Laurie Ellen Barron Wilkinson, 61, of Wakefield, RI, passed away on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, after fighting hard against cancer and other chronic illnesses.

Laurie was a loving and caring woman, who kept an open door for anyone who needed her, be it family, friend, or even animal. She enjoyed spending time looking out over her beloved rose garden and butterfly bushes where she watched the butterflies and listened to the birds that called them home.

She was predeceased by her father, John Vincent Barron, step-father Louis Karajohn, and grandchild Gabriel Nava.

Laurie is leaving behind her loving husband of 34 years, Raymond Wilkinson, and their two children, Corin Nava and Seth Barron Wilkinson, along with their spouses Nathan Nava and Kyla Wilkinson. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her mother, Carol Karajohn; sisters Kristi Luiz and Gwen Barron; and step-sister Lana Fagundes

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Monday, December 12th at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street in Wakefield. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM in the funeral home.
