Kurt Garrett Hall

Kurt Garrett Hall, 45, of Providence, RI, died September 22, 2013 at Miriam Hospital after a brief illness. Kurt is survived by his mother, Beverly Hall of Wakefield, RI; his father, George Hall of Burke, VT; a brother, Mark D. Hall of Wakefield, RI; and a sister, Kara L. Hall and her husband Seth Crothers, of Rockville, MD. Also surviving are nephews, Ryan and Evan Crothers of Rockville and Graham Hall of Wakefield. Raised in Cumberland, RI, Mr. Hall attended Moses Brown School, Providence, RI; Saint Lawrence College, Ramsgate, England; and Boston College, Boston, MA. He especially enjoyed his time studying and teaching in Madrid, Spain. A memorial service will be held for Kurt G. Hall on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the South County Museum, Narragansett, RI, beginning at 5:30 PM and followed by a Celebration of Kurt’s Life from 6:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Kurt’s love of nature, arts, and culture, the family suggests a donation to the South County Museum, 115 Strathmore Street, Narragansett, RI 02882.
