Kristen was a devoted memory keeper and talented artist. Her children find solace in the many photographs she took over the years. Kristen's creativity shone through in her handmade photo cards, needlepoint stockings, quilted blankets, and scrapbooks. She also loved collecting sea glass to create stained glass panels, ornaments, and mosaic trays.
Kristen taught in the Narragansett School System for more than 20 years at both the Elementary and Pier Schools. She retired in 2016 after a long and rewarding career which included a year of teaching at St John's College in the Bahamas and time spent working with children in an orphanage in Cape Town, South Africa.
