Kim A. Vanderlaan

Kim A. Vanderlaan, 40, of Bethel, Maine, formerly of Wakefield, died Friday. She was the wife of David B. Vanderlaan. Born in Boulder, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Burgmann and Mildred Voshel-Lutman and step-daughter of Christel Ilg. She was a high school math teacher and devoted mother and homemaker. Besides her husband she is survived by two children, Bryce Vanderlaan and Kali Vanderlaan of Wakefield. The funeral will be Wednesday 10:00AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, East Beach Rd., Charlestown. Burial will follow at New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI, P.O.
