Kevin T. Cronin, Jr.

Kevin T. Cronin, Jr., 31, of Kingston, died Wednesday. Born in South Kingstown he was a son of Kevin Cronin of Charlestown and Nancy Gillespie of Kingston. He graduated from South Kingstown High School in 1996 and then attended the University of Rhode Island School of Engineering. While at URI he helped develop devices to aid disabled persons and he received a community award for his work. He will be remembered as making the best of what he was given with his love, compassion, patience and humor. Besides his mother and father he is survived by, his paternal grandmother, Claire Cronin of Kingston, his stepmother, Kathleen Benz Cronin of Charlestown and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon Saturday in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Friday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kevin T.
