Kenneth E. Montiro

Kenneth E. Montiro, 63, of Warwick, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. He was the husband of Gail Y. (Snead) Montiro and the late Sharon L. (Hazard) Montiro. Born in Hanover, NJ, a son of Igirtha M. (Holden) Montiro of Dighton, MA and the late Earl E. Montiro. Mr. Montiro was a designer for Electric Boat for many years before retiring. Besides his wife and mother he leaves his daughter, Shana L. Brown and her husband Robert of North Kingstown; two brothers, Bryant Montiro of Seekonk, MA and Earl Chris Montiro and his wife Theresa of Taunton, MA; three grandchildren, Juanzah Montiro, Inasia and Zuriel Brown; father and mother-in-law, Lewis and Alice Griffin of Warwick and six brother and sister-in-laws. He was the brother of the late Barry Montiro. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from10-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am in the First Church of God, 209 Allen Avenue, Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Church of God.
