Obituary

Kenneth R. Boiteau, Sr. 67, of North Kingstown, passed away on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at South County Hospital. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Normand and Lillian (Lucchesi) Boiteau.

Kenneth worked for many years as a Supervisor at General Dynamics. He was a member of the Quonset Air Museum and the South County Rod and Gun Club and volunteered with the South Kingstown Forest Fire Department. Kenneth was also an avid fisherman who greatly enjoyed spending time on the water.

He is survived by his two sons, Richard Boitueau and his wife Rebecca, Kenneth Boiteau, Jr., five grandchildren, Cory Luce, Hailey Boiteau, Abigail Smith, Madison Boiteau and Hudson Boiteau, a sister, Muriel Bessette and her husband Richard, and his nieces and nephew, Amanda Cote and her husband Sean, Lilly Cote, Katy Appleton, Jacob Cote, Jordon Colon and Odin Colon . He was the brother of the late Normand Boiteau, and uncle of the late Kristina Colon, and Melissa Boiteau.

Calling hours for Kenneth will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 from 2 to 4 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private.
