Kathryn "Kathy" E. Provost

Kathryn “Kathy” E. Provost, 72, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Provost and Grace Eileen (Donahue) Provost. Kathy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from the University of Rhode Island where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Sorority and then she went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Boston University. She worked for DCYF for the State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. Kathy was an animal lover and will be remembered for her generosity and kind heart. She is survived by her siblings, Geraldine Ann (Provost) Wigent and her husband Michael and Gerard Daniel Provost and his wife Rita Jean Cesario-Provost; her beloved dog Maggie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 9-10 am followed by a service at 10 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
