Kathleen E. Mullins, 65, of Wakefield, passed away Saturday, April 1st.. She was the beloved wife of the late Bryan E. Mullins. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Morrow) Pearce. Mrs. Mullins was employed by the State of Rhode Island at the Former LADD School and then by General Dynamics prior to her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed motorcycle riding and reading her bible. She is survived by a daughter, Christina Jordan of Wakefield; three grandchildren, Cassandra Jordan, Brianne Jordan, and Dylan Geer; two great granddaughters, Kaydence Rausa and Olivia Jordan; four sisters, Brenda Stadnick of Wakefield, Connie Taylor and Ruth Johnson, both of Exeter, and Susan Menihan of North Kingstown; and three brothers, Jack Pearce of Ohio, Frederick Pearce, Jr. and Barry Pearce, both of Wakefield. She was the mother of the late Melissa Mullins and sister of the late Thomas Pearce, Sr., Marjorie Giles, and Judy Jordan. Visiting hours will be held in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Monday April 10th from 10-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston, followed by a reception at the Elks Lodge, 60 Belmont Avenue, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2374 Post Rd #206, Warwick, RI 02886.
